Ben Thomas

Proposal Manager, BA (Hons)

My work background:
Having trained at Sheffield Hallam University as a furniture designer, I began by designing and submitting indoor play area and trampoline park projects. I progressed to working for ISG Construction as a Proposals Co-ordinator, managing and organising many of their public sector tenders.

About my role:
My role involves me managing the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders, budgets, and capability studies, whilst working alongside the rest of the bid team to produce related documentation. There is never a dull moment as every tender is different!

About me:
Much of my life revolves around food! I love to try new recipes and dishes to cook with varying degrees of success. To try and look after my waistline, I spend a lot of time rock climbing and hiking. I am also in the process of designing my own board game!

Random facts:
I have a tiny lizard who likes to sit on my shoulder whilst I work from home.
