My work background:
Since leaving school I have always had office-based roles from Receptionists, Customer Service and Account Management roles but my background most recently was the development of a new coffee brand namely Daddy Beanz Coffee. This is a high street coffee shop that sits within Barnsley town centre and Market Kitchen. I played a key role in the shops design which centred around the use of bespoke vintage items which is the shops’ theme and used over 80 percent recycled materials. Although I have now taken a back seat from the day to day running, I still play a role in the newly designed online coffee store of freshly roasted coffee.”
About my role:
I am one of the Resource Managers and responsible for the allocation of Clerks of Works to projects. It is our responsibility to ensure that the appropriate CoW is allocated to each project. Working daily on building relationships with all Clients and existing CoWs as well as actively recruiting for new Clerks to work with Hickton.
About me:
I love nothing more than spending time with my friends and family – I am a keen cook and enjoy preparing meals for family occasions and of course a night out with the girls! Above all else I enjoy walks with my 2 Labradors, Rupert, and Reggie. Both dogs are under 18 months old so enjoy long (muddy) walks.”
