My work background:
I have worked within tendering teams for over eleven years across different sectors including utilities, technology, energy and housing maintenance. I discovered tendering from a two-day temporary position which has turned into eleven years so far! I started out in a Bid Co-Ordination role progressing to a Senior Business Writer shortly afterwards and have spent the last six years in a Bid Management role.
About my role:
As Bid Manager, I am responsible for managing the bidding process, working closely with the team to ensure high-quality proposals along with competitive fees are provided to our clients. I work closely with all teams to tailor our proposals to our client’s specific needs.
About me:
As a Mother to a little boy I spend most of my time running about after him with a wet wipe in hand! My time outside of work is spent taking my little boy out for family days with my partner which usually consists on trains or tractors, I am hoping it’s just a phase!
Random facts:
I played the flute for eight years as a child and unfortunately, I can no longer play a single note!
