JOB TITLE: HR Co-ordinator

TEAM: Human Resources – Reporting to the Company Secretary

DATE: March 2021

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

LOCATION: Elsecar

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Processing of new starter details into the HR system in a timely manner.
  • Processing of any pre-employment checks for PAYE and Self-Employed staff.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is received for all new starters.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is ordered for new starters.
  • Creating and undertaking induction of new employees as required.
  • Completing change of employment letter and updating the HR system.
  • Co-ordinate training and personal development opportunities.
  • Diarise probationary meetings.
  • Ensure all HR information is maintained and kept up to date.
  • Co-ordinate company HR documents ensuring consistency across the group.
  • Comply with GDPR regulations.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Working collaboratively with all other departments.
  • Collating and inputting staff expenses.
  • Processing initial instructions when new projects are due to start.
  • Diarise annual appraisals and provide documentation to staff.
  • Ensure DSE checks are undertaken for all staff.
  • Participate in the external annual H&S audit.
  • Distribute annual H&S documents.

Useful experience

  • Experience within a HR environment, processing and inputting HR data and sensitive details.
  • Experience using different HR systems, with the ability to confidently learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations to assist with HR duties.
